PRESENTATIONS
Prezentácie

We strive to improve public relationships by raising awareness about Roma history and culture. We annually deliver events such as International Roma Day in April and Porraimos - Romani Holocaust in August. We hold round table discussions and public inquiries over the last years. We have had the opportunity to get feedback from the wider community. We conducted a series of consultations and surveys in the local community and further investigative research.

Usilujeme sa zlepšovať vzťahy s verejnosťou zvyšovaním povedomia o Rómskej histórii a kultúre. Každoročne organizujeme podujatia ako Medzinárodný deň Rómov v apríli a Porraimos - Rómsky holokaust v Augusta. V posledných rokoch sme uskutočnili diskusie za okrúhlym stolom a verejné schodze. Mali sme príležitosť získať spätnú väzbu od širšej komunity. Uskutočnili sme sériu konzultácií a prieskumov v miestnej komunite a ďalší výskum.

TAKE THE BALL NOT DRUGS
Zober loptu, nie drogy

This project was intended to improve overall youth health, encourage team participation and reduce criminality. Our building bridges initiative in removing the barrier and creating trust between the community and the Police. The football project was set up to tackle youths in danger of the misuse of drugs and engagement in anti-social behaviour. The project was funded by Kent Police and Crime Commissioner.

Účelom tohto projektu bolo zlepšiť celkové zdravie mládeže, povzbudienie účasti a znižovania kriminality. Naša iniciatíva v oblasti “stavanie mostov”, odstrania bariér a vytvárania dôvery medzi komunitou a políciou. Futbalový projekt bol zriadený s cieľom pomôcť mládeži, ktora je vystavena nebezpečenstvu zneužívania drog a zapojenia sa do protispoločenského správania. Projekt bol podporený policajným komisárom.

FOOTBALL MATCH WITH THE KENT POLICE AND KCC WARDENS
Futbalový zápas s Políciou Kent

We organised football matches with the Kent Police and KCC Wardens as our ‘Building Bridges’ initiative targeted removing barriers and establishing trust between the community and the police (enforcement agencies). It was supported by the local ASDA store and local football club which provided free training for children on the day. We badly lost but it was a great day for everyone involved.

Zorganizovali sme futbalové zápasy s políciou Kent a KCC Wardens ako našu iniciatívu „budovanie mostov“ zameranú na odstránenie prekážok a nadviazanie dôvery medzi komunitou a políciou . Podporil ho miestny obchod ASDA a miestny futbalový klub, ktorý v ten deň poskytoval deťom bezplatny trening. Prehraly sme, ale pre všetkých zúčastnených to bol skvelý deň.

ZUMBA

Project Zumba was established to address social isolation and support integration into the local community. It was a part of the project "Take the Ball not Drugs" supported by PCC Kent. More than 40 women (young girls, mothers, older women) joined in Zumba classes and built a good relationship with other communities.

Projekt Zumba bol založený za účelom riešenia sociálnej izolácie a podpory integrácie do miestnej komunity. Bola súčasťou projektu "Zober loptu nie drogy" podporovaného PCC Kent. Do tried Zumba sa zapojilo viac ako 40 žien (mladé dievčatá, matky, staršie ženy) a vybudovalo si dobrý vzťah s ostatnými komunitami.
